At the end of August, the Furnace Festival back for the fourth time at Caherconnell in the Burren. Surrounded by history and incredible geology, Caherconnell Fort Fort forms the backdrop for this Festival.

From 2025 onwards, the Caherconnell Furnace Festival will be organised by the lads from Irish Bloomery Iron. Courses in bloomery iron smelting can be booked on their website https://www.irishbloomeryiron.com
